In my 18-year career, I have seen three waves of change and disruption: the rise of Internet 1.0, mobile and social media, and the age of big data and AI. Every six years, the way business gets done fundamentally changes. That means our skill set needs to radically evolve at a pace we are fundamentally not prepared for.
